The course discusses key international organizations and how they shape international cooperation, particularly in the fields of peace and security, development, finance and trade, and human rights protection. The focus is on major supranational and intergovernmental organizations which play a significant role in international and regional affairs. The course will explore the historical origins, institutional specifics and the main functions and operations of these organizations and will attempt to analyze their role and influence on political and economic development in the world in general and its various parts.
