This course examines the complex interplay between human rights and international politics. Students will explore the historical development of human rights concepts, the role of international organizations in promoting and protecting human rights, and the challenges faced in implementing human rights norms in diverse political contexts. By analyzing case studies and contemporary issues, students will develop a critical understanding of the international politics of human rights.
